Wir freuen uns sehr, die beliebten IKEBANA-Workshops ab diesem Spätsommer/Herbst gemeinsam mit Youco in unserem neuen Studio Mitte in der Alte Münze Berlin zu hosten.

Die neuen Räumlichkeiten bieten den perfekten Rahmen für die besondere Atmosphäre des Ikebana. Bei schönem Wetter haben wir außerdem die Möglichkeit, gemeinsam den ruhigen Innenhof zu nutzen und dort die spätsommerlichen Temperaturen zu genießen.

Bei Absage bis 7 Tage vor dem Event wird der volle Preis erstattet. Der Kurs findet ab einer Teilnehmerzahl von 8 Personen statt.

We are happy to bring our popular IKEBANA workshops back in collaboration with Youco this late summer/autumn, hosted in our new Studio Mitte at the Alte Münze Berlin.

The new space offers an ideal setting for the serene and focused atmosphere of Ikebana. When the weather allows, we may also gather in the quiet courtyard to enjoy the gentle late summer light together.

In case of cancellation up to 7 days before the event, the full price will be refunded. The workshop takes place with a minimum of 8 participants.

If you do love both flowers and ceramics as much as we do, this is the opportunity to discover the fascinating world of Ikebana – a Japanese traditional way of interacting with flowers and giving them a second life in minimalist artistic arrangements.

EVENT OVERVIEW

Wir freuen uns auf unseren nächsten Workshop mit Youco von @ikebananterior! Wenn Ihr Blumen und Keramik genauso liebt wie wir, ist dies die Gelegenheit, die faszinierende Welt des Ikebana zu entdecken - eine traditionelle japanische Art, mit Blumen umzugehen und ihnen in minimalistischen künstlerischen Arrangements ein zweites Leben zu geben.

Youco, eine japanische Designerin, wurde von einer Mutter aufgezogen, die sich sehr für Ikebana interessierte. Nachdem sie Japan verlassen und in der ganzen Welt gelebt hatte, besann sie sich auf die Schönheit ihres kulturellen Erbes und ihrer Traditionen. Inspiriert davon begann sie, moderne Ikebana-Workshops anzubieten, in die sie ihre einzigartige Designperspektive einfließen ließ.

Begleitet Youco, wenn sie euch mit einer Diashow in die Ursprünge dieser Kunst einführt und zeigt, wie ihr im japanischen Stil – mit Fokus auf Schlichtheit, Balance und Minimalismus – exquisite Blumenkombinationen kreieren könnt (Theorie und Praxis).
Mit Hilfe eines kleinen Kenzan könnt ihr eure Arrangements immer wieder neu gestalten, auflösen und neu zusammensetzen, um verschiedene Kompositionen auszuprobieren und ein Gefühl für diese besondere Form der Floristik zu entwickeln.

In der Workshop-Gebühr sind alle Blumen sowie Utensilien wie ein kleiner Kenzan und Matcha-Tee für alle enthalten. Für euer Arrangement bekommt ihr eine kleine Keramik mit nach Hause, die wir extra für diesen Anlass angefertigt haben.

Youco wird den Kurs auf Englisch leiten. Zu Beginn gibt es eine kurze Begrüßungsrunde und ein gemeinsames Intro auf Deutsch und Englisch. Während des Kurses sind wir bei Bedarf jederzeit ansprechbar. Wenn Fragen auf Deutsch aufkommen oder etwas übersetzt werden soll, unterstützen wir euch gerne.

Youco, a Japanese designer, was raised by a mother who was very devoted to ikebana. After leaving Japan and living across the globe, she found herself reflecting on the beauty of her cultural heritage and traditions. Inspired by this, she began offering modern ikebana workshops infused with her unique design perspective.

Join Youco as she guides you through the origins of this art form with a slideshow and shows you how to create exquisite floral compositions in the Japanese style, focusing on simplicity, balance, and minimalism (theory and practice).
Using a small kenzan, you are encouraged to create, take apart, and re-arrange your designs multiple times, allowing you to experiment freely with different flower combinations and truly experience the essence of this approach.

The workshop fee includes all flowers, tools such as a small kenzan, and matcha tea for everyone. For your arrangement, you’ll receive a small ceramic piece to take home that we specially made for this occasion.

Youco will lead the workshop in English. We will begin with a short welcome and introductory round in both German and English. Throughout the course, we will be available to support you whenever needed. If any questions come up in German or anything needs translating, we will be happy to assist.
