Wir freuen uns sehr, die beliebten Atelier Kyo Matcha Workshops ab diesem Spätsommer gemeinsam mit Franzi in unserem neuen Studio Mitte in der Alte Münze Berlin zu hosten. Die neuen Räumlichkeiten bieten den perfekten Rahmen für die besondere Atmosphäre rund um Matcha und achtsame Zubereitung.

Franzi leitet den Workshop auf Englisch. Bei Bedarf wird sie jederzeit ins Deutsche übersetzen oder Fragen auf Deutsch beantworten, sodass alle Inhalte gut verständlich sind.

Bei Absage bis 7 Tage vor dem Event wird der volle Preis erstattet. Der Kurs findet ab einer Teilnehmerzahl von 8 Personen statt.

We are very happy to host the popular Atelier Kyo Matcha Workshops this late summer together with Franzi in our new Studio Mitte at the Alte Münze Berlin.

The new space provides the perfect setting for the special atmosphere around matcha and mindful preparation.

Franzi will lead the workshop in English. If needed, she will translate into German at any time or answer questions in German, ensuring that all content is easy to follow.

In case of cancellation up to 7 days before the event, the full price will be refunded. The workshop takes place with a minimum of 8 participants.

EVENT OVERVIEW

In diesem interaktiven Workshop tauchen wir gemeinsam mit Franziska von Atelier Kyō in die jahrhundertealte Tradition des japanischen Matcha-Tees ein und entwickeln daraus unser eigenes Ritual für Fokus, Kreativität und Achtsamkeit. Nach einer Einführung in den Ursprung, Anbau und die Wirkung von Matcha verkosten wir verschiedene Sorten und lernen Schritt für Schritt, Matcha auf traditionelle und moderne Weise zuzubereiten. Anschließend formen wir im Workshop unsere ganz persönliche Matcha Schale mithilfe der Handbuilding Technik, um das Teeritual auch zuhause lebendig zu machen.

In this interactive workshop, we explore the centuries-old tradition of Japanese matcha and learn how to turn it into a personal ritual for focus, creativity, and mindfulness. After an introduction to the origins, cultivation, and benefits of matcha, we taste different varieties and grades before preparing a bowl of matcha in both traditional and modern ways. We then explore the art of handbuilding as we shape our own matcha bowls, creating a unique vessel that brings the tea ritual to life at home.
